FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
GENERAL QUESTIONS
What does an interior designer do?
An interior designer helps create functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces by selecting finishes, furniture, lighting, and layouts that suit your needs and lifestyle. My role includes space planning, material and color selection, sourcing furnishings, and overseeing the design process to bring your vision to life.

What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?
Interior designers focus on both aesthetics and functionality, often working with architects and contractors on structural and spatial planning. Interior decorators primarily focus on styling and furnishings without altering the structure of a space.

Why should I hire an interior designer instead of doing it myself?
Hiring an interior designer saves you time, stress, and costly mistakes. I bring professional expertise in space planning, color theory, and material selection to create a cohesive and functional design. Additionally, I have access to trade-only resources and vendor discounts that aren't available to the general public.

Can you work with my existing contractor or architect?
Yes! I collaborate with contractors, architects, and builders to ensure the design is executed correctly and efficiently. If you don’t have one, I can recommend trusted professionals. My role is to bridge the gap between design and construction, ensuring every detail is aligned with your vision.

Do you offer virtual design services?
Yes! I offer virtual design consultations where I provide mood boards, product selections, and layout recommendations that you can implement at your own pace.

What types of projects do you work on?
I specialize in residential interior design, from full home renovations to smaller updates like kitchen and bathroom remodels. I also offer space planning, custom furniture selection, and material finishes for new builds.
What is your design style?
I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all approach—I tailor every project to the client’s needs and personal style. However, I love blending functionality with timeless aesthetics, ensuring your space remains stylish and practical for years to come.
