Universal design creates environments that work for everyone—regardless of age, ability, or mobility. At VTID, we take this further by designing homes that empower independence, dignity, and beauty. We collaborate with your Occupational Therapist (or connect you with ours) to ensure your space is not only ADA-compliant, but also deeply aligned with your functional and emotional needs. Who This Is For: - Older adults who want to age safely and comfortably in their homes - Adults recovering from illness, injury, or surgery - Individuals with cognitive or mobility-related disabilities - Children with special needs whose spaces need to evolve with them as they grow - Families building their "forever home"; designed to support aging in place gracefully - Caregivers and loved ones seeking safer, more empowering environments What We Offer: - ADA-compliant bathroom and kitchen remodels - Barrier-free entrances and widened doorways - Walk-in tubs and roll-in showers - Adaptive furniture and accessible cabinetry - Non-slip flooring and layered lighting plans - Coordination and integration of medical or mobility equipment - Calming, sensory-friendly environments for children and neurodiverse individuals Why It Matters: Accessible design shouldn’t mean sterile or clinical.
